In this study, a new simulation method is proposed and verified for fiber Bragg grating patterned on polarization maintaining fiber (PM-FBG) using the transfer matrix approach.
The output matrix is used for connecting signals issued by different functions to the output relays (DO), virtual outputs (VO) and disturbance record trigger (DR). Protective relays and devices have been developed over 100 years ago to provide “lastline”of defense for the electrical systems. They are intended to quickly identify a fault and isolate it so the balance of the system continue to run under normal conditions. The relays are in round glass cases.
